LIGHT GRAY COLLECTION

By THE NORTH FACE PURPLE LABEL for RHC Ron Herman

THE NORTH FACE PURPLE LABEL and RHC Ron Herman release a tone-on-tone "Light Gray Collection" on 24 October, their first joint project in about three years.

PURPLE LABEL is a Japanese line. It was created in the early 2000s inside Goldwin, the Toyama company that has distributed The North Face in Japan since 1978, together with Eiichiro Homma, who also founded nanamica. It is made for the Japanese market and takes the brand's technical know-how towards everyday clothing. RHC Ron Herman is the Ron Herman shop line, which stocks this label as an exclusive.

The collection is built around a single light grey. The sweat set-up uses COOL MAX eco French terry, a PURPLE LABEL original fabric. The top has a relaxed cut with enough room to layer, while the trousers are wide at the thigh and taper towards the ankle, so the leg looks clean over a shoe.

The third piece is a field cardigan in a wool, polyester and nylon boa fleece, a warm, soft material. It can be worn alone, but it also connects to PURPLE LABEL's regular field jacket, where it works as an inner liner.

Prices range from 19,800 to 47,300 yen, tax included. The collection is sold at RHC Ron Herman stores and at Ron Herman "R" stores.
