OCTOBER RUST / BLOODY KISSES COLLECTION
By F-LAGSTUF-F x Type O Negative
F-LAGSTUF-F and the American band Type O Negative release a collaboration on 24 October, with graphics drawn from the band's album artwork.
F-LAGSTUF-F is a Tokyo label founded in 2014 by Yusuke Yatsuhashi. It mixes 1990s skate culture, music and manga, and has made a habit of collaborations with musical and screen references. Past projects include a collection for Blur in 2023 and a line with Ghost in the Shell in 2024.
Type O Negative was a Brooklyn band whose gothic, slow and heavy sound made them a cult name in heavy metal. For this collection F-LAGSTUF-F worked from two points: the artwork of October Rust, one of the band's best-known albums, and the visuals tied to the song "Bloody Kisses", which is also the title of an earlier album.
The treatment is bold. The jacket carries the graphics as an all-over print, so the artwork covers the whole garment. The rest of the range is made up of T-shirts, hoodies and knitwear, which gives the collection a wider entry point than the single outerwear piece.
The items go on sale on 24 October on the F-LAGSTUF-F online store and at authorised stockists. The source does not give prices.
