AW26 LEATHER GOODS, 9 STYLES
By Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO
Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO releases nine new leather goods on Saturday 24 October, as part of its autumn/winter 2026 season. The drop is built around two motifs that the house treats as signatures: a duck character called LEON and the "TAG" design.
Mihara Yasuhiro was born in Nagasaki in 1972 and moved to Tokyo in 1993 to study textiles at Tama Art University. He taught himself shoemaking, launched the label archi doom in 1996 and founded SOSU MIHARA YASUHIRO in 1999 before the house took its current name. Footwear remains the brand's historical core, which makes a leather goods drop a natural extension of how it works with material.
LEON is the newer of the two motifs. The green duck joined the brand in 2024, and the house links it to the designer's childhood memories without spelling out what it stands for. In this release it appears as embroidery on a series made in Italian shrink leather, the kind of grained, slightly pebbled finish that gives small goods some body.
The second series uses the "TAG" design. The wallets and card cases in this line are cut from Italian split leather. The source lists nine styles across the two series but does not break them down by item, and no prices were published with the announcement.
The pieces go on sale on 24 October at Maison MIHARA YASUHIRO's directly operated stores and on its online store. The flagship in Omotesando Hills (main building, basement floor) is the contact point for inquiries, on 03-5770-3291.
