Waphyto
Waphyto is a Japanese beauty brand founded in 2019 by botanist and bio-method researcher Atsushi Mori in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture. The company is structured around agricultural production and product development rather than fashion branding: it is a skincare, body care and wellness label built on the cultivation and processing of medicinal and aromatic plants grown in the Higashi-Mikawa area. Its formulations centre on locally grown botanicals including fennel, lemon balm, chamomile, mulberry and other herbs cultivated with regional farming partners. The brand combines plant extraction, cosmetic formulation and aromatherapeutic application, with products spanning skincare, body care, hair care and fragrance-related items. Production is presented through a farm-to-product logic in which raw materials, extraction and finished cosmetics are closely linked to a defined growing region. Within Japan’s beauty landscape, Waphyto is distinguished by the degree to which cultivation is treated as the basis of the brand. Rather than borrowing from herbal imagery, it builds its identity through traceable regional agriculture, phytotherapy-informed formulation and an explicit connection between wellness products and the botanical resources of a specific place.

How to buy

  1. 01

We buy and ship it for you

We haven't verified Waphyto's international checkout yet. Honmono can order in Japan on your behalf and forward it to you — one contact, one invoice, no Japanese address needed.

  2. 02

    Use a dedicated proxy service

A proxy such as Buyee or ZenMarket gives you a Japanese address, buys the item and forwards it. Cheaper than a concierge, but expect forwarding fees, a longer wait and customs on arrival.

  3. 03

    Buy it while in Japan

Buy direct from the official shop or a Japanese retailer while you're there — tax-free at most stores on presentation of your passport.
