Trove
TROVE is a Japanese menswear label founded by Daisuke Kamide in 2004. Based in Tokyo and sold through its own Yushima shop, the brand defines itself through relaxed everyday clothing, while operating alongside related lines including WAROBE and the factory business NECTORY. Its long presence within the Tokyo fashion scene places it within an established independent design context rather than a seasonal trend cycle. What distinguishes TROVE is its close relation to production. The brand is linked to NECTORY, a Gifu-based apparel manufacturer that handles planning, pattern making, sample production, bulk production, inspection and shipping, and is equipped for original fabrics and trims as well as secondary processes such as embroidery, printing, washing and dyeing. This gives the clothing a development logic grounded in construction, material behavior and manufacturing sequence rather than surface styling alone. Within Japanese contemporary fashion, TROVE occupies a quieter position than labels built around spectacle or streetwear. Its work is defined less by graphic identity than by a steady refinement of loose tailoring, work-derived items and relaxed silhouettes. The connection to its own manufacturing structure is the clearest point of difference: design decisions appear to emerge from production knowledge, not simply from branding.

How to buy

  1. 01

We buy and ship it for you

Trove doesn't ship abroad. Honmono can order in Japan on your behalf and forward it to you — one contact, one invoice, no Japanese address needed.

  2. 02

    Use a dedicated proxy service

A proxy such as Buyee or ZenMarket gives you a Japanese address, buys the item and forwards it. Cheaper than a concierge, but expect forwarding fees, a longer wait and customs on arrival.

  3. 03

    Buy it while in Japan

Buy direct from the official shop or a Japanese retailer while you're there — tax-free at most stores on presentation of your passport.
