EUCHRONIA
Euchronia is a Tokyo-based Japanese lace atelier and fashion brand by Momoka Sato and Fu Miyazaki. On its own site, the pair describe the label as a unit of lace creators that turns personal memories into lace. The work moves between collections and commissioned or research-based projects, using clothing as the primary form through which these narratives are given material structure. Its practice is centred on original lace and garment construction rather than surface decoration. Across its projects, the designers begin with interviews and recollections, then translate those stories into specific motifs, textiles and forms: a lace suit patterned with eremurus flowers, a reversible smock with concealed lace, a knit jumpsuit wrapped in organza, or garments composed to be worn together as one dress. Retail listings further indicate production in Japan and the use of materials such as cotton, silk, silk chenille and mohair. What distinguishes Euchronia is the way it treats lace as a narrative medium rather than a sign of delicacy or ornament. Within contemporary Japanese fashion, where textile experimentation is often tied to industry or technique, the brand links lace development to memory work, biography and ritual. That combination gives its clothing a specific position: neither conventional ready-to-wear nor costume, but a materially precise practice built through recollection.

How to buy

  1. 01

We buy and ship it for you

EUCHRONIA doesn't ship abroad. Honmono can order in Japan on your behalf and forward it to you — one contact, one invoice, no Japanese address needed.

  2. 02

    Use a dedicated proxy service

A proxy such as Buyee or ZenMarket gives you a Japanese address, buys the item and forwards it. Cheaper than a concierge, but expect forwarding fees, a longer wait and customs on arrival.

  3. 03

    Buy it while in Japan

Buy direct from the official shop or a Japanese retailer while you're there — tax-free at most stores on presentation of your passport.
