PASTOR NOVA is a Japanese clothing brand launched in 2023, built around wool as its primary functional material. The name combines PASTOR (Latin for “shepherd”) and NOVA (“new” or “yet unseen”), reflecting the brand’s intent to explore new possibilities within one of the oldest functional fibres. The brand defines its work as daily functional wear, focusing on wool not as a heritage signifier, but as a technical foundation for contemporary garments. Its collections include jackets, trousers, shirts, and shorts—often informed by outdoor and utility references while remaining grounded in everyday use. At the core of its practice is the combination of natural and synthetic fibres.
