TOCT
TOCT is a Tokyo-based jewelry brand launched in Spring 2025. Focusing on rings, earrings, and ear cuffs, the brand develops collections inspired by the philosophy of kintsugi. Rooted in the traditional Japanese technique of repairing broken ceramics, TOCT translates the concept of kintsugi into contemporary silver and gold jewelry. Its pieces incorporate visual elements that evoke notions of “repair” and “connection,” reimagining these ideas through a modern design language. Surfaces are reconstructed through the use of lacquer and gold details, giving each piece a distinct and individual expression. All items are made to order, with a production time ranging from approximately two weeks to one and a half months. Each piece is carefully handcrafted by skilled artisans in Japan. What defines TOCT is not simply the use of kintsugi as a motif, but its reinterpretation of the technique’s underlying aesthetic and visual language into contemporary jewelry. Rather than applying Japanese craft as decoration, TOCT positions its work as “wearable craft,” integrating it naturally into everyday life.
