CIOTA was started in autumn/winter 2019 by Shiota, an Okayama garment factory and fabric manufacturer, and carries out the entire process in house: material selection, textile design, weaving, pattern, sewing. Its main material is Suvin cotton, an extra-long staple grown in southern India that accounts for a fraction of a percent of world production.
